Privacy notice

This is a courtesy translation. The Spanish version, published at jordix.net/privacidad, is the one that governs; if the two differ, the Spanish text prevails.

Data controller

Jordi Egea Mas, an individual with business activity, domiciled in Xalapa, Veracruz, México, is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice, except in the section "Data that Lead processes on behalf of clients", where Jordix IA acts as data processor.

For anything related to your personal data, write to info@jordix.net. This notice is issued under the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) in force in Mexico (hereinafter, the Law) and its implementing regulations.

Data this site processes

jordix.net collects very little data. This is all of it, grouped by how it reaches us.

Cookie-free analytics

We measure use of the site with a tool of our own, built by Jordix IA and running on Cloudflare infrastructure. It uses no cookies or persistent identifiers and stores nothing in your browser (neither local nor session storage). For each visit it records:

• The pages you view, how far down you scroll and how long they stay on screen.
• Where you come from: only the domain of the previous page (for example, google.com) and, if the link carries them, the campaign parameters. Never the full address.
• The type of device, the browser and operating system family, and the approximate country, region and city, which Cloudflare infers from the connection.
• Interactions such as opening the chat, clicking "See how it works", reaching certain sections or leaving a contact in the chat, without their content.
• How fast the page loads and responds.

To count visitors without cookies, your IP address and the user agent of your browser (the text your browser uses to introduce itself to each site) are combined with a key that changes every day, and a visitor code that is valid for that day only is calculated from them. Neither the IP address nor the user agent is stored: all that is kept from the user agent is the type of device and the browser and operating system family. Because the key for each day is destroyed, the code cannot be used to recognise a visit on another day or to recover the IP.

This measurement is not designed to identify you. Even so, visits on the same day share that code, so if you leave your contact details in the chat, that contact could be linked to what you viewed on the site that day.

From the AI chat, only the topic of each conversation is recorded, chosen from a closed list (Lead, services, pricing, the client case, integrations or other). Never the text of what you write.

This site installs no third-party cookies or tracking pixels.

What you write to us by email

If you write to us at info@jordix.net, we process your name, your email address and whatever you tell us in the message. We use them only to reply to you and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal for you.

The AI chat

The site has a conversational assistant that answers questions about Jordix IA and about Lead. This is how it works:

• What you type in the chat is sent to the API of Anthropic, the provider of the language model, to generate each reply. Anthropic does not use what is sent through its API to train its models, under its commercial terms.
• Conversations are not stored on Jordix IA servers. Your browser keeps them during the session (session storage, not cookies) so they are not lost when you change pages, and they disappear when you close the tab.
• If during the chat you decide to leave us a contact (your name, your email or your phone number, and the reason), the assistant sends it to us by email through Resend, our email delivery provider. That email is kept so we can attend to you, like any other message you write to us.
• To prevent abuse, the chat service counts requests per IP address for a few minutes. That count is kept in memory and is neither stored nor linked to any person.

Do not type into the chat any data you would not want to share with an artificial intelligence provider: for example, health, financial or third-party data. The assistant does not need it to help you.

Data we do not process

We do not process sensitive personal data (health, ethnic origin, beliefs, sexual orientation, biometric data) or financial data through this site. If you send it to us by mistake, we delete it as soon as we detect it.

Data that Lead processes on behalf of clients

Lead is the AI-powered CRM developed by Jordix IA. Businesses (our clients) use it to attend to their prospects on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and other channels, and to manage the comments they receive on the posts of their Facebook Page and Instagram account. When a prospect writes to a business that uses Lead or comments on one of its posts, Lead receives and processes that message or comment.

In that processing, the business that uses Lead is the data controller for its prospects' data: it decides what it uses them for and for how long, and it is the one that answers to them. Jordix IA acts as data processor, in the terms of the Law: it processes the data solely on the instructions of the business, under the contract signed with each one, and does not use it for its own purposes.

What data Lead receives

• The content of the messages the prospect exchanges with the business.
• The channel identifiers: phone number on WhatsApp, or profile identifier and name on Instagram and Messenger.
• The data the prospect shares in the conversation or that the business records in their profile: name, email, interest, budget, scheduled appointments.
• The public comments a person leaves on the posts of the business's Facebook Page or Instagram account: the text of the comment, the commenter's profile name and the post it was left on.

What Lead does with it

• Replies to the prospect's messages on behalf of the business, with artificial intelligence and the instructions the business configures.
• To generate those replies, it sends the content of the conversation to the API of Anthropic. Anthropic does not use what is sent through its API to train its models, under its commercial terms.
• Qualifies the prospect, proposes and schedules appointments, and alerts a person on the business team when the conversation requires it.
• Stores the conversation and the prospect's profile so the business can review them and follow up.
• Shows those comments to the business team and proposes a reply with artificial intelligence. Only when a person on the business team decides so, it replies publicly, sends a single private message to the commenter or hides the comment.

How we protect it

The data is stored on infrastructure contracted by Jordix IA, separated by client, with access restricted to the staff of the business it belongs to and to Jordix IA in order to operate the service. It is transmitted encrypted. When the contract with a business ends, its data is deleted or returned to it, as agreed.

If you are a prospect of a business that uses Lead and want to exercise your rights over your data, contact that business first, as it is the data controller. If you get no reply, write to us at info@jordix.net and we will help your request reach the right party. In Data deletion we explain step by step how to request erasure.

Purposes of processing

Each piece of data is used for what it was collected for, and nothing else. In short:

• Analytics: measure use of the site to improve it. Primary purpose, with data that does not identify you.
• Email and chat contacts: reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal for you and maintain the business relationship you initiate. Primary purpose.
• AI chat: generate the reply to what you ask. Primary purpose; the conversation is not kept.
• Data that Lead processes for clients: the purposes are defined by each business in its own privacy notice. Jordix IA only provides the service.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it or hand it to third parties for their own purposes, and we do not make automated decisions with legal effects on you without human intervention.

Transfers and providers

We do not transfer your personal data to third parties for their own purposes. To provide the service we use providers that process data on our behalf (or on behalf of the business that uses Lead), under their own contracts and privacy policies:

• Anthropic (United States): API of the language model that generates the replies of the chat on this site and in Lead.
• Cloudflare (United States): hosting of jordix.net, content delivery network and cookie-free analytics.
• Resend (United States): delivery of the emails this site generates, such as the contacts you leave in the chat.
• Meta Platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger): messaging platform through which Lead receives and sends messages, when the business connects those channels. Meta processes the messages under its own terms and policies.

Some of these providers are outside Mexico. We send them only the data needed to provide their service, and they are bound to process it with the same confidentiality the Law requires. We may disclose personal data when a competent authority lawfully requires it.

Retention

• Analytics: the records of our own measurement are kept for 25 months and then deleted; the daily summaries, which do not distinguish visitors, are kept.
• Conversations in the chat on this site: not kept on the server. In your browser they live only during the session and disappear when you close the tab.
• Emails and contacts you leave us: for as long as the business relationship you initiate lasts and, afterwards, for as long as the law requires correspondence to be kept. If there is no relationship, we delete them when you ask us to or, at most, two years after the last message.
• Data that Lead processes for clients: the period is set by each business in its contract and in its own notice. When the service ends, it is deleted or returned to the business.

ARCO rights and withdrawal of consent

You have the right to access your personal data, to rectify it if it is inaccurate, to cancel it when it is no longer needed and to oppose its processing for a legitimate reason. You can also withdraw the consent you have given us and limit the use or disclosure of your data.

To exercise them, write to info@jordix.net with this content:

1. Your name and an email address where you want to receive the reply.
2. Which right you want to exercise (access, rectification, cancellation or opposition) and over which data.
3. How your data reached us: by email, through the chat on jordix.net or through a business that uses Lead (in that case, which one).
4. If you ask for rectification, the correct data. If you ask for cancellation or opposition, the reason, if there is one.

To make sure it is you, we will reply to the address you write from or ask you for confirmation through the same channel by which your data reached us. We will not ask for a copy of your ID unless it is essential.

We reply within a maximum of 20 business days from receiving the complete request. If it is granted, we carry it out within the 15 business days following the reply. Exercising these rights is free of charge.

If what you want is for us to delete your data, the procedure and timing are those of the Data deletion page, which are shorter: acknowledgement within 5 business days and erasure within a maximum of 30 calendar days.

If you consider that we have not handled your request in accordance with the Law, you can turn to the competent Mexican authority for the protection of personal data.

Minors

jordix.net and Lead are aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has left us their data, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the law, our services or our providers change. The governing version is always the Spanish one published at jordix.net/privacidad, with its last-updated date at the top; this translation is published at jordix.net/en/privacy. If a change substantially affects how we process your data, we will notify by email those we have as contacts.
